Your Questions, Answered

  • Club Artist’s Way is a high touch, book club-style mastermind that meets virtually every week for 13 weeks to move through The Artist’s Way, the (iconic) creative recovery program created by Julia Cameron.

  • We’ll meet once per week on Zoom for a guided, group 60 minute discussion. Before each meeting, you’ll receive a prompt so you know what we’ll be focusing on. Our calls include a mix of group shares, breakout sessions, and 1:1 discussions.

Outside of Zoom, we have a private accountability group chat where we share our weekly Morning Pages and Artist Date check ins.

  • You’re in good company. Many past members (myself included) previously attempted the book on their own but didn’t make it past the first few chapters (most often its chapter 4). One of the most consistent pieces of feedback I receive is that the group structure, and the community energy that forms around it, is the secret sauce to actually completing (and enjoying) the full process.

  • Not at all. The group includes a mix of creative professionals, curious explorers, and people simply looking to reconnect with themselves. No résumé or portfolio required, just a willingness to show up and see what unfolds.

  • No problem. Each meeting is recorded and a replay link is shared upon request. You’ll still receive the weekly prompt and can stay connected via the WhatsApp group, so you’ll never be out of the loop.

  • The full, 13-week experience is $850.

    This includes:

All weekly sessions; a private group accountability chat; session recordings (upon request), guided discussion prompts; 3 months of complimentary access to Club Morning Pages- a weekly journaling meetup on zoom; and a 15-minute, 1:1 creative check in call with Elizabeth.

  • Yes, we do offer scholarship pricing. Details will be released once enrollment for the next session opens.

  • Potentially! Some participants are able to categorize Club Artist’s Way as a professional development or continuing education expense, especially if creativity, content creation, or innovative thinking is part of your work. Employees can request that their employer cover the cost as part of their professional development budget. Self-employed individuals often deduct programs like this as education & training.

If this is something you’re interested in, we’ve drafted a request letter template to share with your HR or manager. Email clubartistsway@gmail.com and we’ll happily share that with you.

If you’re self-employed, check with your tax preparer or accountant to confirm eligibility based on your situation.

  • Due to the limited group size and nature of the experience, refund requests will only be honored until the day after the cohort begins. Beyond special circumstances, any refund requests after that will be applied towards creative consulting sessions or other workshops with Elizabeth Kott.

  • “The growth was personal as much as it was creative. It felt therapeutic in the sense that it not only helped me eliminate blocks that hinder creativity but also productivity, presence, energy, etc.”
